Evans Kituyi

Evans is the Principal Consultant and co-founder of DaleAgro. He brings over 20 years of experience in international development research and practices to the firm. Evans has worked in non-governmental organizations, academia, and grantmaking as well as private consulting and advisory services in the fields of sustainable energy, climate change, and the green economy.

Evans coordinated a multi-million-dollar, multi-country cross-continental portfolio of climate-resilient development projects while serving as a senior programme specialist at Canada’s International Development Research Centre for over ten years.

As an independent consultant, he helped clients develop organizational strategies as well as integrate sustainability in transportation and healthcare infrastructure.

He has also developed policies and strategies for clean cooking solutions and helped clients to co-design locally-relevant climate-resilient interventions in health, human security, and food systems with wide experience in East, South, and West Africa and South Asia. Evans has consulted for institutions including UNEP, GIZ, AfDB, and WHO among others. He serves on various advisory boards and technical working groups.

He holds a Ph.D. in environmental science and an MBA in strategic management.
