The African energy system is witnessing progressive transformation as the continent looks to transition into a decarbonized future. Africa’s energy mix has seen transitions before. However, the current scenario is significantly more complex as we strive to balance between developing affordable energy required to drive economic growth, securing universal energy access, and the need to transition to a low-carbon economy. - Energy planning
