Dr. Elvin Nyukuri

Dr. Nyukuri is a researcher specializing in Environmental Governance, Climate Resilience, and Natural Resource Conflicts at the Centre for Advanced Studies in Environmental Law and Policy (CASELAP) – University of Nairobi.

With close to a decade of experience at the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS), she has been actively involved in multidisciplinary research, focusing on environmental governance and policy, climate change, and food security.

Currently, Dr. Nyukuri serves as a program committee member of the Leading Integrated Research Agenda for Africa, 2030, and a member of the Horn of Africa Climate Security Working Group.

She is also a reviewer and evaluator for various international organizations and universities in matters related to environmental governance in the Horn of Africa.

Through her research and teaching, she continues to influence policy in her field. Dr. Nyukuri has a Ph.D. in International Development Policy and Practice from The Open University (UK) and a Master’s Degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from the University of Nairobi.
